After successfully selling her businesses, Debbie returned to New Zealand in 2016, joining RE/MAX New Zealand. Her trajectory continued upward, culminating in her 2018 induction into the prestigious RE/MAX Hall of Fame, along with recognition as one of the Top 50 salespeople globally under the RE/MAX banner.

In 2022, Debbie made the deliberate move away from traditional franchise models, establishing her own brand, Debbie Aldred Real Estate, under a more agile, hybrid structure supported by Independent Agent Ltd. Outside of real estate, Debbie, and her partner Les Marsh share a dynamic, blended family of six adult children, four sons and two daughters, along with two adored granddaughters, all living across the globe. Together, they also manage their family’s property, Tongue Farm, a 74-hectare sheep and cattle property in the heart of Matakana – a reflection of Debbie’s deep connection to land, lifestyle, and legacy. Debbie is the longstanding Commodore of the Sandspit Yacht Club, a role that perfectly reflects her leadership, energy, and passion for community. Quite simply, there’s no slowing her down.

A life defined by adventure and achievement, Debbie has sailed thousands of nautical miles aboard her family’s 46-foot yacht. In 2019, she, Les and family completed an extraordinary voyage from Spain to New Zealand just ahead of the world closing. In 2025, the same crew returned to the ocean, embarking on a four-month expedition from New Zealand through the remote Austral and Gambier Islands, French Polynesia, and Tonga. A published author, Debbie’s first book, Sailing Marmax, captured this spirit of adventure, with her second now underway.

When time allows, you’ll find her on the water in Kawau Bay, sailing, fishing, and recharging in the very environment she so often represents in her work. This is more than a lifestyle; it’s a lived experience she brings directly to her clients.
